About

Welcome!

Hi, I’m Victoria—casual adventurer, coffee lover, and lifelong traveler.
I started this blog to share the places and experiences that inspire me—and to offer practical tips that help turn your travel daydreams into real-life adventures.

To me, travel is about experiences: standing in awe at a stunning mountain range after a hike, making memories with new and old friends, and delighting in an early morning espresso or fresh made petulla.

After traveling to 36 countries and living in four, my goal is to show you that expanding your world doesn’t have to be expensive or complicated. Whether you’re planning your first big trip or looking for ways to spend more time abroad, this blog is for you.

How It All Started

Travel has always been a part of my life. I grew up mostly between Argentina and the U.S., bouncing between two cultures and calling more than one place “home.” At first, those trips were about reconnecting with family—but they also sparked something deeper. Once you know there’s a world beyond your own backyard, you can’t unknow it.

Over the years, I’ve figured out how to keep travel woven into my life, even while working full-time and on a nonprofit budget. I’ve taken a gap year to explore Europe, studied abroad in Germany, and later found ways to spend months at a time in places like New Zealand and Australia, Spain, and Argentina. These trips were about expanding “real” life, not escaping it.

Through it all, I’ve earned a Master’s degree and built a career in research and public policy working mostly in the nonprofit world. But I’ve also learned how to create a lifestyle where flexibility, curiosity, and travel can exist alongside work.

Now, I share what I’ve learned so you can create your own version of a more flexible, travel-filled life—whatever that looks like for you.

My Travel Style

I’m a casual adventurer who loves hiking, rafting, snorkeling and trying new activities, but equally enjoys wandering through city streets, checking out art museums, and hunting down the best pastries and coffee (double espresso, always).

To me, the perfect trip is a combination of nature and culture, and some of my favorite destinations, Argentina, the Balkans, New Zealand, have heaps of both.

I travel solo, with friends, and with my partner Kolton. Together we’ve figured out how to travel often—without breaking the bank.

At its core, this blog is about creating a life that brings you joy and excitement. It’s about choosing curiosity, chasing wonder, and giving yourself permission to explore the world—and yourself—on your own terms.

Wherever you’re starting from, I hope this blog gives you practical tools and a spark of inspiration to live more freely and travel more often.

Let’s explore together.
